The School of Rock show is where you get to be a rock star.
The show is what you do it all for, and it's worth it . . .
Your hard work culminates in a day of total rock and roll glory.
You will choose songs with your band (hopefully in a democratic fashion) but it is up to you to get the tablature and to learn your parts and the structure of the songs. You will have to be committed to 2 months of School of Rock classes, as you will be a necessary part of the end show.
You will be expected to practise at home, and come in ready to play the songs. You will also be expected to be on time. You are even welcome to come up to 30 minutes early- the sooner you set up, the sooner you can start!
Non-serious attempts will not be tolerated. School of Rock tutors get seriously irritated by students who don't rehearse, and by students who are late on an ongoing basis.
Your band will have to sell about 20 tickets before the show. You have to- that's how we make sure people will be there to see your band. Having no friends is not an excuse! The show could sell out, so make sure you get there early!
